About the Role
DayLive is looking for a confident and professional News Anchor to present news across our digital platforms. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills, a strong on-camera presence, and a passion for journalism. As a News Anchor, you will deliver daily news bulletins, conduct interviews, and present accurate, engaging, and informative content to our audience.
Responsibilities
- Present daily news bulletins and special news programs.
- Deliver news with confidence, clarity, and professionalism.
- Read and present scripts accurately using a teleprompter.
- Coordinate with the editorial team to ensure accurate news presentation.
- Conduct interviews with guests, experts, and public figures when required.
- Cover live events and breaking news updates.
- Stay informed about current affairs and trending topics.
- Maintain a professional on-screen appearance and communication style.
- Follow editorial guidelines and journalistic standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Mass Communication, Media Studies, or a related field (preferred).
- 1–3 years of experience as a News Anchor, Video Presenter, or similar role. Freshers with exceptional communication and presentation skills may also apply.
- Excellent verbal communication skills in Hindi. English proficiency is an added advantage.
- Strong on-camera presence and confidence.
- Clear pronunciation, voice modulation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work under deadlines and handle live broadcasts.
